Connect With Us
We’re a new church plant in Port Macquarie linked with and accountable to Hillsong Church. What started as an interest weekend in August 2024 soon grew into weekly gatherings in a local lounge room. As our community grew, we moved into a larger space and officially launched Port Macquarie Connect in later 2024.

Kids & Youth
At Port Macquarie Connect, we believe children are incredibly important and that learning to love God and love others happens both at home and in the church. Our heart is to partner with families as they raise their children to know Jesus in a real and joyful way. Through fun, engaging programs, meaningful worship, and age appropriate teaching, we want every child to feel safe, seen, loved, and excited to be in church. We love creating spaces where kids can build friendships, grow in faith, and have so much fun along the way.
We are also passionate about creating a place where young people can belong, grow, and encounter Jesus for themselves. We want to see teenagers surrounded by great people, healthy community, and a church environment that helps them build strong faith, make wise choices, and step confidently into all God has for their lives. Our heart is to raise a generation who know Jesus, love His Church, and live with purpose. Youth Friday nights coming soon.
Tithes & Offerings
"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. 'Test me in this,' says the Lord Almighty, 'and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.” Malachi 3:10 (NIV)
Tithing is a way we honour God by giving our first and best back to Him. It’s a step of obedience that aligns our hearts with His, and it opens the door for His blessings, favour, and protection in our lives. When we tithe, it helps provide for the church, allowing us to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community and beyond, sharing His love with a world that needs it.
Hamish & Cass
Hamish and Cass are married with two daughters
and are the leaders of Port Macquarie Connect.
In May 2023, they moved from Sydney, Australia - where they had been part of the staff and team at Hillsong Church for nearly two decades - to follow God’s call and build a church in Port Macquarie, Cass’ hometown.
Hamish and Cass are passionate about sharing the gospel of Jesus, raising up the next generation in a fun and safe environment, and creating a genuine church community where people of all ages and stages of life feel welcome.
Our purpose is simple: to love the people of Port Macquarie and be a place of hope, restoration, and life for anyone who steps into our space. We wholeheartedly believe that God loves the Mid North Coast and is transforming our area.
